Overall Satisfaction with ESET PROTECT

We are an MSP, and we use ESET Protect on all of our clients' devices. The multi-tenancy features allowing us to manage multiple clients from a single dashboard are critical to our business. We like being able to roll security changes out seamlessly to all of our clients from one place.

Pros

  • Great endpoint protection.
  • Easy to manage.
  • Multi-tenancy.

Cons

  • Improved Mac functionality.
  • Default collections of policies.
  • Simpler UI.
  • Team can find and resolve issues faster.
  • Time saved from having to replicate policies.
  • Automating the systems with dynamic groups.
It's got some great powerful features; however, sometimes it can be a bit difficult to run some simple tasks. Some tasks can easily be run on a single device but are more complex, requiring creating tasks and scheduling them when it could be simply run from a multiple select menu.
Both are great products, but the resource footprint on ESET seems to be smaller, and the multitenancy of ESET makes it so much easier to use.

It's great in an MSP environment due to multi-tenancy. It also supports lots of operating systems.
