Overall Satisfaction with GeoSurf

Select teams use Geosurf to reproduce the user experience across the locales supported by our site. It ensures that ads and partners present exactly as they did to the user.

Pros

  • Geosurf offers the most relevant locales
  • Geosurf is very responsive when an IP address stops working or is blocked
  • The mobile emulator is particularly helpful

Cons

  • There doesn't appear to be quality control across IP addresses, at least those supplied to my team. We are the ones that notice when they stop working. Geosurf could be more proactive in finding failing sites.
  • Zenmate
We started using Zenmate in the US because Geosurf didn't work in Chrome for US IP addresses for several months. Zenmate is free, but has limited locales.
Geosurf is well suited for teams that need to research performance on 5 or more locales. Fewer than that, there are freeware options that provide the same service at no significant detriment to usability.
