Google Gemini Speeds Up Our Research
Overall Satisfaction with Google Gemini
We use Gemini in a variety of scenarios relating to quickly searching for information on the pet health sector, customer purchasing habits, market trends with animal supplements, dog breed analysis (in terms of age-related information), and general information on overall pet wellness. Gemini is able to source the internet for information and feed it back to us in a manner that is simple to understand.
Pros
- Quickly bring back information regarding to what we ask it
- Display it in an easy to read format
- Allow us to give feedback on the information displayed, thus helping the algorithm to learn
- Allows us to share and export the information however we need with whomever we need
- Allows us to play audio to listen to the information if it's really long
Cons
- AI isn't perfect with any system, and can sometimes pick up elements that aren't quite related to the topic
- The information sometimes is incorrect - which is why you always have to check the source of where AI got the information from. At the bottom of the page, Google literally says "Gemini can make mistakes, so double-check it" for a reason.
- It can show pictures, but the algorithm isn't completely spot on.
- Speeds up research time by quite a bit.
- Provides an easy to understand user interface when displaying results.
- Can slow down your research if you think it is incorrect, causing you to just do double the work anyways.
Google Gemini does pretty well against ChatGPT in regards to the information sourced and accuracy. Gemini's user interface is about the same, however I find it a bit cleaner, especially the way information is outputted. We use a lot of the Google Suite products, so access to Gemini fits easily right into our everyday working life already.
