One of the best online editing tools out there
Overall Satisfaction with Grammarly
Every person at our organization has Grammarly installed and uses it on a daily basis. We use it for emails, proofreading, and content. The free version is quite extensive which is a nice change! We love the ease of use with the Chrome extension and it works with our Google Suite as well. It's great to have the built-in editing tool for our Google docs.
It checks spelling, grammar, and punctuation, plus sentence structure. It's become a must-have for our team.

Pros
- Potential errors are highlighted in red, making them stand out. Simply by hovering over the item, you can see the recommended adjustments and click to apply or dismiss - so simple.
- The browser extension means I can use Grammarly while working online.
- You can set your personal profile to the type of English you want - American, British, etc.
Cons
- Not a great tool for those who do a lot of editing offline.
- If you don't do a lot of writing, the cost to upgrade to premium can be steep.
- It can be distracting when doing a brainstorming doc or rough draft before you're ready to actually look for errors!
- The grammar check - it's made a huge difference
- The auto-correction feature has been a lifesaver
- The fact that it's online and our whole team can see the adjustments means less time spent in the future on editing
- Major decreases in editing times
- Stronger overall writing skills for my team
- Overall tone and sentence structure have improved throughout the company
