Overall Satisfaction with Planful (formerly Host Analytics)

Host Analytics Clud EPM Suite is currently used to perform our global consolidation. The suite is primarily used by [our] finance & accounting [department] for changing a previously manual process into something in a more robust flexible environment that allows analysis on things that previously weren't compared.

Pros

  • Flexible and easy to implement. We were able to get data into the application without extensive assistance from our IT department and feel like we really own our solution in finance and accounting.

Cons

  • Removal of MDX coding for the dashboarding and visualization features of the landing page.
  • Host Analytics has provided a positive impact on our overall business objectives because we now how the tools to look at our consolidated business in a consistent way and have a path towards "one source" of the truth.
Host Analytics was evaluated against Oracle's Hyperion EPM and in terms of speed to value was significantly quicker and easier to implement without a dedicated IT resource. We were able to also save time in having a dedicated finance resource that helped to complete the project in about half of the projected time. Oracle also cost about 50% more than the ultimate planned implementation of Host Analytics on 3, 5 and 10 year estimates.
Host Analytics Cloud EPM Suite is well suited in an environment where finance a accounting want to own the solution with Convert the flexibility to manage a growing organization.

It is especially nice to hear that you’re realizing a return on your investment with the Host Analytics Consolidation module.
