Juniper Access Points and Mist
Overall Satisfaction with HPE Juniper Access Points
We had trouble getting Cisco access points and equipment during Covid and tried Juniper and they have been great. They are more cost effective and Mist makes them easier to manage than traditional aironet access points. We have been able to deploy them across our network and centrally mange them with more features and less licensing issues than we had with Cisco.
Pros
- Managment
- Security
- wireless features
Cons
- Onboarding new devices for existing networks
- More options for setting up pay for wifi features
- With the lower cost of the aps we have been able to have more dcoverage
- We have a better overall view of wireless performance
- Cisco Meraki Dashboard and Cisco Aironet 2800 Series Access Points (discontinued)
Mist has more features than meraki in regards to wireless management. Adding devices is still simple and licensing is much easier to undertsf
