Some nuances in how tags are used for evidence mean auditors occasionally miss tagged items or do not naturally look in the right tag, which can cause extra back‑and‑forth during audits.

Hyperproof is well suited when HR documentation is a major part of SOX and related audits, such as demonstrating completed background checks, signed offer letters, and policy acknowledgments for all in‑scope employees. In environments with multiple control owners or multiple HR team members involved, it works especially well as a central workspace where HR can consistently provide and reuse evidence across SOX and SOC 2.
