Overall Satisfaction with Hyperproof
We primarily use Hyperproof for control management. Managing PCI, CIS and ISO 27001 controls without having to manage hundreds of separate controls. We also oversee the complete policy lifecycle within Hyperproof and manage all of our risk registers. We wanted a tool that would grow with us and so far the tool has delivered.
Pros
- Manages multiple frameworks by managing 1 control
- Integrates well with Jira and Asana
- Simple dashboards that tell you the key information
Cons
- Third Party Management needs work (but I believe watch this space)
- Minor tweaks like linking a requirement to a scoped control, not just the high level control would be useful
- Quantification of risks is needed
- Maybe still too early to say but we're hoping for smoother audits
- Tangible areas of weakness to focus
- Controls linked to risks to provide real data and calculate where tangible improvements can be made
As mentioned previously, it won't compare to the market leaders where you'll be paying 5 times the price. It compares nicely against OneTrust and offers greater usability.
