Overall Satisfaction with Hyperproof

Hyperproof is used by the Group to retain evidence of control adherence and to provide reminders that ensure compliance with core finance and business controls. It is used across the business from product development and marketing to finance. It allows one step monitoring of the status of controls across the entire business.

Pros

  • Ease of monitoring
  • Integration to Google Drive
  • Reminders

Cons

  • User interface is not the most intuitive
  • Filtering by controls other than by owner
  • Ability to see across the organisation
  • Improved control compliance
  • Auditing of control compliance
  • Retention of key documentation
The user interface of Hyperproof is not as intuitive as it could be. Once you figure it out it is a relatively straightforward tool to use and links well with other data storage. It doesn't appear to offer grouping of controls as determined by the user or manager of the instance.

Do you think Hyperproof delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Hyperproof's feature set?

Yes

Did Hyperproof live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Hyperproof go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Hyperproof again?

Yes

The tool works well as a central storage for controls and allows easy monitoring by control managers. Hyperproof doesn't make it easy for staff covering holidays etc to locate controls that are not normally their responsibility. There also seems to be little link between the Tasks functionality and the control functionality.
