Overall Satisfaction with IBM Apptio
IBM Apptio is used for managing the Technology Financials in our organization. This includes the processes of budgeting, forecasting, variance reporting, and TBM Cost Modeling/TCO Reporting.
We use it in tandem with IBM Cloudability, which we use as our central FinOps Tool, to give us full coverage in managing our IT Spend.

As an ITFM Tool, Apptio's capabilities are leagues beyond ServiceNow.
Its powerful TBM Studio really gives IT Finance admin users the ability to manage raw data more efficiently.
Specifically, we like how it is purpose-built to handle ITFM, TBM, FinOps use-cases and empowers its admins/power users. With tools like ServiceNow, there are too many features you need to customize/define - whereas Apptio allows us to make on-the-fly changes as needed. We also like the ability to generate multi-object drill reports, which other tools may struggle with.
