Overall Satisfaction with IBM Apptio

Technology budget management. Allowing to manage all IT budgets in one place. One source of truth.

Cons

  • allow additional columns in the planning module to store relevant commentary
very easy to use with the exception of the option of the EDIT UNDO.
  • eliminating spreadsheets
Building self-view reports should be made easier for common users and not just admins of the tool. This is will allow "play" scenario testing without publishing the reports.
The support has been with product owner but seemed responsive and insightful to answer the questions that various users had.

Love having all budgets in one place. improvement would be to allow additional times that data can be refreshed with SAP beyond one time per day. Excited to see how AI will improve functionality of the tool in the future to make reporting easier.
