We use Apptio for: Deep cloud cost optimization capabilities, including rightsizing and commitment management. Breaks down IT spending into services and applications for better accountability. customizable dashboards and reports for different stakeholders. Dynamic forecasting for cloud costs based on usage trends and commitments. Centralizes financial, operational, and usage data from multiple sources: Azure, AWS, Snowflake, etc.

Cost management, cost allocation, chargeback, business mapping (tags), and reporting - great tool. Governance and policy (less appropriate): auto-stopping idle resources, cost control rules, and policy implementation.
