Overall Satisfaction with IBM Clinical Development (ICD)

Within our organization Zelta by Merative is used across departments- Data management, Monitoring, Project management, Clinical support. It supports corresponding services from clinical trials study builds and data management; to monitoring, study and site management and throughout study completion.

Pros

  • Data management activities from initial study build and development
  • Report generating , data listing capabilities
  • System interoperability, within system i.e. availability of various modules
  • System interoperability, across systems i.e. data integration

Cons

  • Monitoring management module
  • Project management module
  • Direct data capture
  • Ideally EMR integration
  • Positive impact ongoing time and cost savings.
Similar database use is mainly study specific.
In my experience and from user feedback Zelta by Merative is very user friendly and has all the basics covered, and can be reasonably customized as needed.
Support is always very quick to respond and helpful in addressing resolving questions.

Thinking best suited for full service projects to include integrate all modules/ capabilities. May not be suitable depending on regulations regarding esource.
