Overall Satisfaction with IBM Cloud Bare Metal Servers

We use these servers to host the websites and applications of many of our clients. These servers provide us with the uptime and speed required for usage in many eCommerce and local government websites, in case of failure due to hardware errors or network connectivity their support is top-notch.

Pros

  • Up-time.
  • Support.
  • Flexibility.

Cons

  • Weird SSL VPN Support.
  • Greater reliability.
This is a very short time for having a real server up and running with your custom configuration and its basic operating system configured.
They are well suited for high-performance websites and applications that require more resources than a traditional virtual machine can offer. You have to be aware that since these are real servers their boot times are in the real of five minutes or more because of the tests the machines do during POST.
