Overall Satisfaction with IBM Cloud Object Storage
It is being used for content management and in other areas across the organization. It provides an easy way to upload and retrieve data objects. For example, we host our header and footer content on the cloud. This allows us to show the most current content to consumers.
- Storage - Storing objects in buckets makes it easy to manage and maintain content.
- Retrieval - Integration with our legacy and cloud components makes it easy to retrieve and display objects stored.
- Triggering events on Object change, when uploading new objects we have to manually clear cache through Akamai. Currently exploring solutions to automate this process.
- Made it easy to maintain a large portion of consumer facing data/objects.
- The support and multitude of solutions available allows a large company to work comfortably with IBM Cloud Object Storage.
Reduces costs, we can leverage the multiple tiers to provide our customers a better experience.
