Overall Satisfaction with IBM Cloud Object Storage
IBM Cloud Object Storage is mainly used to store client data objects for analysis, because it's been helpful for both small testing projects and large-scale storage needs.
Pros
- the 25GB free storage is generous and great for testing or small-scale use
- IBM provides different storage classes like Active, Smart Tier, Cool and Cold Vault, which makes it flexible based on what I need
- migration was fast and smooth and their support desk really helped during the process
Cons
- pricing is a little expensive
- the data transfer speed is not that fast and I feel it should be improved
- it can be a bit complicated to start
- i feel confident storing sensitive data because of its strong protection against deletion and modification
- the 10TB capacity meets all our storage needs and leaves room to grow
- being able to share and store documents across devices and teams makes day to day work smoother
I like that I can organize objects into buckets and choose locations close to me to reduce latency. The interface is clean and the embedded AI tools help monitor if things are running smoothly.
It made my data more secure and scalable on IBM Cloud Object Storage.
