IBM Instana is important for organizations looking to monitor their framework and deal with issues before harm is caused. Like in our industry, equipment downtime can be costly. IBM Instana's predictive maintenance capabilities have enabled us to proactively address issues before they lead to down time. for instance our excavator fleet is equipped with IoT sensors connected to Instana allowing us to monitor crucial parameters like engine temperature. When abnormal readings were shown, Instana sent alerts allowing us to schedule maintenance before breakdown.
