Overall Satisfaction with IBM Networking Services for Software Defined Networks

We completed full migration from traditional networks to SDNs about three years ago making it necessary to have a universal network management software. We ended up going for IBM Networking Services for Software Defined Networks because we had been using IBM cloud suite already. We use it as our primary SDN features controller. It provides an outstanding view, intelligence and control of our networks and our clients'.
  • Effective load balancing of SDNs.
  • Provides a centralized approach to managing hybrid network topology.
  • Has an effective controller redundancy.
  • Low performance while managing overlay Model SDN.
  • The SDN controller is always vulnerable to attacks, but its only natural considering it is a potential single point of failure. We have to pay more for a SOAR to improve security.
  • Network control via direct programming.
  • Load balancers to manage traffic
  • Microsegmentation of networks
  • Simplified network management and operation
  • Greater control of networks from a central administration point.
