Overall Satisfaction with IBM Networking Services for Software Defined Networks

We use IBM Networking Services for SDNs to help us establish an extensive roadmap to improve how we scale SDN deployment. Because we use multiple vendor technologies and software, IBM Networking Services for SDNs are crucial in building a network fabric to integrate the different software. We also use it for SD-WAN assessment to leverage vendor comparison.

Pros

  • Improved security of virtual machines with SDN central control.
  • Flexible in adjusting network configuration.

Cons

  • Making switches between physical and virtual network devices is quite slow.
  • Centralized Network provisioning
  • Enterprise management.
  • SD-WAN assessment.
  • Loosening from the hardware constraints in network provisioning.
  • We are top performing in Network modernization.

However, with IBM Networking Services for SDNs, you make a step closer to attaining centralized network provisioning with a unified perspective. IBM has been resourceful in speeding up our network delivery, but you'll have to bear with the frustrating task of switching between the physical and virtual network devices from the controller.
