IBM Planning Analytics - Forecasting and Planning to a New Level

We are using IBM Planning Analytics today to build out our short term and long term forecasts and manage our Sales, Inventory, Operations and Planning process. IBM Planning Analytics supplements our normal forecasting with enhanced modeling and more predictive/proactive estimates on stockouts as well as optimization for inventory placement to avoid suboptimal storage costs and less than ideal inventory turns and carrying costs.

AI planning and modeling tools that allows us to generate quickly and review quickly multiple future scenarios and plan into operations, sales and purchasing plans. Prior to IBM Planning Analytics this type of modeling was too time consuming and slow for us to efficiently use for our business

If anything IBM Planning Analytics has provided us way better capabilities than we've had before and systematized a very manual, slow and often error prone forecasting and planning process.
