Overall Satisfaction with IBM Planning Analytics with Watson

This software is an AI based analytics software and is of great help for me when it comes to meet out financial goals or have a perfect accuracy on forecasting for upcoming triggered events. It also has a very interactive dashboard which is super easy to use and handle all tasks from one screen. I have so far experienced that it can handle large amount of data volumes without a bit of compromise in performance.
  • Handling large data volumes
  • Gets Easily integrated with large ERP system or say APIs
  • Best for Financial Forecasting and planning
  • Easy to use dashboard
  • More training videos and PDFs for making it easier to use quickly
  • Little costlier
  • Access rights between TM1 & PAW should improve
  • Ofcourse It saves a lot of time
  • Greater accuracy in forecasting
  • Handling large amount of data
IBM analytics capabilities are far beyond any normal analytical tools as it allows for multiple scenarios. We get an option what to show for public and what to keep private as per our requirements. Sandbox here plays an vital role in creating personal what-if scenarios before submitting the results for any particular plan
  • SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation)
I compare this software with the previous one i have used i.e. SAP, IBM have the greater speed and hence is fast in implementing plans and conducting other calculations. In comparison to past experience, an allocation that almost takes 10-12 hours in another tool was created in IBM Planning Analytics in only 1-2 hours. That's incredible.
