Overall Satisfaction with IBM Storage FlashSystem

we use the IBM Storage FlashSystem's Virtual Storage (SVC) backend to support critical production workload as well as regular production. Even we are mirroring the production volumes between the two data centers (approc 35kM apart), we got an excellent response time. Less than 0.5ms for reading and approx. 1.0ms for writing. The environment is very stable and we were able to continue production even we lost one of the two 9500 controllers. Almost nobody notices the event.

  • Migration from directly attached host to SVC
  • Stable and performance
GUI and CLI common the whole family (SVC & FlashSystems)
I can support more workload with good performance even with compression
