Overall Satisfaction with IBM Storwize
The IBM Storwize was originally purchased to consolidate DS5000 workloads. Hence we have refreshed the array and even grown it [to] add in a DR location. The GUI is super easy - even our manager can figure it out in times of need.
Pros

- Easy to Use GUI
Cons
- Always room for Data Reduction Improvements (efficiency) without the overhead on the array
- Would love to see NVMe roadmap
- Great ROI within a short period of time (months)
- Freed up storage admin to focus on Architecture
IBM SVC (ran for several years)
ESS E & F models (yeah those are old)
Since Storwize is based upon SVC it was a no brainer and saved us $$$$.
