Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use InterSystems IRIS to develop solutions to interoperability problems within hospital trusts. The solutions I develop allow for more efficient working systems within hospitals which leads to better patient care. The InterSystems engine contains a great many tools to enable me to fulfill this role and a huge amount of documentation to enable me to learn and use the systems effectively.

It is well suited to taking hospital patient data and automatically routing it to demographic systems as well as the intended destination. It can perform a great many operations on the data automatically to suit the hospital's needs, and thus reduce labour costs for the hospital on an ongoing basis.
