Juniper APs
Overall Satisfaction with Juniper AP Series Access Points
I am over three schools and a board office. I have replaced the board office AP and the high school with Juniper access points and have had absolutely no issues. The Mist console is the best thing I've ever seen associated with access points and I've dealt with Ruckus, Aruba, and several others over the years. Since switching to Juniper equipment I have no longer had to worry about access points going down and if they did, it would be easy to pinpoint when and where.
Pros
- Reliable
- Easy to onboard
- Easy to track issues
Cons
- I honestly don't see much room for improvement.
- They start up quickly.
- The Mist is easy to manage.
- Since replacing an aging Ruckus network, I've had no problems to go fix
- I am able to remotely see if all AP's are online
- The Mist is incredibly easy to use
- Aruba Networks Wireless WAN and Ruckus ICX Switches
Juniper and the Mist console are far superior to access points and admin consoles I have worked with in the past. You can utilize the Mist effectively even if you don't have a background in networking or a lot of experience early on without a real learning curve. So far, they have all been reliable.
