Overall Satisfaction with Katalon Studio
We use Katalon Studio to test our GraphQL based API's using a Data Driven model. Validation of response and its contents for different requests and integration with Azure Devops.

- Trial Version offers good features
- Offers integration with several Devops sites
- Integration with Azure is painstakingly slow as it takes too much time to upload reports to Azure. When raised with the support team i was advised to contact Microsoft who promptly and correctly replied that its an issue with the katalon plugin.
- Non Responsive Customer Support. Several mails were replied late.
- The Desktop app uses too much memory when booting up and running tests even on a 16gb RAM.
- Codeless Automation
- Free Version features
- Lower Pricing relative to competitors
- More Effort spent on investigating Azure pipeline delays and failures when running Katalon test suites
- Licenses not released automatically when an Azure pipeline run is completed. No help received from support team on this
The decision to use Katalon was made by my organization before i joined it.
