Overall Satisfaction with Kemp LoadMaster

We have two Kemp LB's across our two DC's. They balance the incoming requests between the server infrastructure that we have clustered.
  • Reliability
  • Load balancing
  • Great support
  • Not as many bells and whistles as the competitors.
  • Cheaper than some competitors, but not super cheap.
  • Depending on your needs there are some free options out there.
  • It is a reliable product, so although it is not a free product it pays for itself.
  • They have great support - if there was to be an issue it is resolved promptly.
  • Our customers are happy to renew support agreements due to our uptime.

It is well suited for most load-balancing needs and works great for on-premise SfB deployments with load-balancing edge server traffic. As they are a reliable product, I would recommend them where a HA pair is required. Depending on the size of the deployment you could look at some free options that would meet the requirements.
