Overall Satisfaction with Kendo UI
Kendo UI is being used by various department in the company for multiple web based projects. For one particular project the business needed a data entry screen with quite few number of fields and user needed to be able to add/update many fields at the same time. Additionally there are certain columns which needed to be shown at all times which has been achieved thru a frozen column feature. Kendo UI helped us achieve this without much of development from scratch.
Pros
- Better online tutorial which helps integrate controls easily.
- Deployment is quite easy.
- Quite a bit feature rich controls available in the toolkit.
Cons
- Performance improvement for controls like Grid while working with larger data-set.
- Some UI improvement needed like virtual scrolling which is done quite well bu other libraries.
- Controls for working with Angular 2 - it lacks quite a few features.
- Faster development
