Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)
We use it for document conversions; Word save as pdf for emailing; scanning to pdf for saving to our document management system; searching docs, etc. If there's anything regarding documents that a company needs, this program is it. It's easy to learn and I actually bought Kofax for my personal computer use as well as it is much easier and more reliable than Adobe.
- I like the make pdf searchable feature as it straightens docs that may have been scanned in crooked and it has search capabilities for whatever you are looking for.
- It has a stamp feature for signatures that stays in the program. I can enter a signature on any pdf if it's saved in stamps.
- The typewriter feature is awesome! I can put dates in the pdf or add an extra sentence.
- The forms feature is a time saver! Just click the button and Kofax reads where the blanks could be filled in and makes it a form. No more text boxes!
- The edit text feature doesn't stay in the font of the document I'm in so every page where I want to enter the date for example, I have to change the font. I just did this in a 1500 page document where the date it was signed had to be entered in the first paragraph of the document. It took a LONG time.
This program is one of the easiest to use. It just makes sense.
Nuance is much easier to use.
