Overall Satisfaction with Koofr

I use Koofr for data storage backups in the secure vault, but primarily I use the file drop landing page for clients to securely send various files to my business rather than sending me documents, or other files with sensitive data, via email. Given the link is unchanging, all I need to do is send a single link for all clients to upload the files they're sending me.

Pros

Cons

  • The file-drop landing page only shows a banner saying the files that have been uploaded are complete. There's no subsequent pop-up or something to confirm if the person uploads additional files, making it confusing to know if the files have been uploaded
  • Improved time efficiency by not needing to follow up clients for files
Navigation using the UI is very easy and intuitive. I just wish the file-drop landing page was a bit more interactive by giving confirmation each time a file is uploaded. For example, saying "upload of <file name> successful", and giving better customisation options for the landing page so I can make it look more on-point for my brand.
Google Drive doesn't have the option to have a landing page to drop files to - you must either make a folder available to everyone, or to an individual. This is the primary use case where I've found Koofr is significantly better.

Koofr is a great cloud-based storage service, whether it's just to have backups for files, to store additional files, to substitute things like Google Drive or OneDrive, or to share files between team members. It's also really handy to have a file-drop landing page for clients to send files to without the need to log in to anything, and to avoid sending things via email.
