Overall Satisfaction with Linode
We host a number of database, web, and mail servers with Linode. Most of Hagel Technologies' cloud infrastructure is consolidated on Linode VMs. These servers are used across the whole organization.
- Rock solid servers. Very few issues over the years.
- Support is helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable.
- Pricing is competitive.
- There could be more flexibility in the VM configurations that Linode offers.
- Linode pricing is great for us. Since we just run some VMs, it's a significantly better deal than, say, Amazon or any other bigger cloud provider.
At one time we had some of our VMs running on Digital Ocean servers as well. Eventually, we realized that

Linode pricing is very straightforward compared to bigger cloud providers. We know what we will pay every month.
The service is rock solid; we had very few
issues over the years, and when there were issues, they were resolved very quickly. Linode offers a status page, which, in my experience, is kept up-to-date.
