Overall Satisfaction with Linode

My organization relies on Linode for access management, monitoring of other services, and for our organization-wide VPN. We require an extremely reliable service that is external from our network to provide accurate and real-time monitoring of all of our systems and also a centralized place for access management.

Pros

  • Extremely reliable.
  • We are kept up to date about upgrades and their likely effect on uptime.
  • They are extremely fast at fixing any unexpected problems that occur and keeping us up to date.

Cons

  • Their competitors offer cheap managed services such as databases, Redis, etc. and I’d like to see Linode take on this.
  • Customers are extremely happy with the reliability of the service we are providing.
They are extremely quick to respond and always keep us up to date.
Linode is extremely suited for hosting non-critical services, such as a blog and also critical services where you need high scalability but also appreciate knowing exactly what it’s going to cost you at the end of the month, unlike the bigger cloud services.
