Overall Satisfaction with Linode

We are a software company who uses Linode to host our own servers as well as selling the option to our customers to host our product with Linode.
  • Availability.
  • Options.
  • Ease of use.
  • Support response time during critical issues tends to be slow.
  • Often takes multiple tries to reach a rep who understands (or pays proper attention to) a question/problem.
  • Pricing.
  • Uptime = confidence from our customers.
  • Uptime=confidence for our internal stability.
  • Slow or confused support replies lead to unnecessary delays and customer worry.
Base server options less expensive.
Mentioned previously: our overall experience shows long delays before initial reply to new support tickets. Often seems techs skim or don't understand the actual problem leading to delays. These were our most recent experience, but fortunately it was on a dev cluster and didn't affect any of our customers.
