Linode - makes our lives much easier!
Overall Satisfaction with Linode
We use Linode to host client software products, and internally to automate tasks and make use of centralized storage. We have a number of Linodes set up, covering various sizes, Linux configurations and geographic location. They are used on a daily basis, and all our customer services rely on these systems.
Pros
- Uptime - high availability and great communication about upcoming maintenance.
- Customer Service - Very technical contacts, able to understand requirements and assist if necessary.
- Pricing - Very competitive pricing, pay for what you use.
Cons
- I literally cannot think of a con.
- Return on investment is amazing, we can provide our customers with (near) 24/7 uptime and for a fair cost.
Linode's implementation is simpler in many ways to competitors, and as a technical user I find that very useful.
I would happily pay twice as much as we do for the services Linode provides, they are invaluable to our business.
All our services are hosted on Linode servers, and our users are distributed around the world. High availability is extremely important for our business and one of the main reasons we are using Linode.
