Linode is used for running our core platform services.

Pros

  • Affordable
  • Easy to manage
  • Great flexibility

Cons

  • Automatic scaling options
  • Possibility to easily increase disk, memory or CPU separately
  • Improve redundancy options
  • Affordable solution when we had a constrained economy
  • Possibility to verify our platform on a high end server
  • Great availability so we didn’t have to worry about downtime
Linode had a pricing scheme that suited us better
Quick answers and help when we have questions or issues.
Linode is great for people that know how to manage a Linux system and wants to run their own software on it without the need to manage their own hardware. It’s less appropriate if you want to be able to easily scale up/down the server without interruption.
