Linode is used for running our core platform services.

Affordable solution that helped us have 24/7 server running.
Great availability, we had a few stops but they were solved reasonably quick.
Linode is great for people that know how to manage a Linux system and wants to run their own software on it without the need to manage their own hardware. It’s less appropriate if you want to be able to easily scale up/down the server without interruption.
