Overall Satisfaction with Linode

Our current use case is running a mail server for several of our domains. We've also used Linode to spin up test servers for various applications, to see if they are worth pursuing for our own internal use or as recommendations for current and future clients.

Pros

  • Fast and reliable access
  • Awesome technical support that is knowledgeable and fast to respond
  • Amazing price points for the quality and quantity of service offered

Cons

  • Honestly can not think of any cons to the services offered that we've taken advantage of.
  • Automated backups give peace of mind
  • Don't have to worry about constantly monitoring servers for failures
  • Fast and easy access
The few times that I've had to contact support, they have responded immediately and have been able to resolve the issue within a very reasonable time frame without impacting operations.
A huge variety of preconfigured setups are available, multiple operating systems and applications, great tutorials and knowledgeable support staff. The only downside I can see is if you just do not require/need/want a presence in the cloud.
