Overall Satisfaction with Linode

We use Linode across the organization to power all the customer-racing systems. We use Linode exclusively.
  • Non-nonsense and reasonable pricing.
  • Great support team.
  • Excellent performance on the compute and storage layer.
  • The Kubernetes offering is ramping up and not yet fully featured.
  • Interactions between the Firewall and Kubernetes products are not always well defined.
  • Linode has been more reliable than our previous self-hosting.
  • Predictable cost model.
The support is helpful and knowledgeable. They sometimes fall behind when it comes to the newer offerings, such as LKE.
TCO is predictable and more than reasonable given the price tag and performance.
Since we are hosting e-commerce systems, we need infrastructure to be highly available and MTTR to be low. Linode ticks both of these boxes, and we have been delighted by the reliability of the Linode infrastructure.
The products that Linode offers are well thought out and offer very good performance.
