Overall Satisfaction with LogRhythm NextGen SIEM Platform

LogRhythm is a great SIEM with many needed features and competitive pricing. They also offer both on-premises and cloud solutions based on your needs. They have a decent community and support. They offer many needed features, such as UBEA, NDR, and file monitoring. Their web console is well-designed, while I can't say the same for their client console.

Pros

  • Live monitoring.
  • UBEA
  • File activity monitoring.
  • Dashboards.

Cons

  • Reliability.
  • Customer support.
  • Overall system reliability and availability and development.
  • With there competitive pricing you can make good ROI usually.
  • Most negative impacts are due to uptime.
As mentioned, the web console is well-designed and user-friendly, while the client console is not. The parsing editor also needs a complete redesign; it's an absolute mess. Block use cases designer is well-made. Dashboard creation can also use some improvement; overall, it's in the middle in terms of usability.
I think Logrhythm still has a lot of work to do to catch up with competitors in many areas. They need to improve their design cycle, with a cycle that's completely focused on bug fixing and reliability, without introducing any new features to improve the system's overall reliability. They also need to improve their API, as now all security solutions should talk very well with each other, which APIs can enable.

Do you think LogRhythm NextGen SIEM Platform delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with LogRhythm NextGen SIEM Platform's feature set?

Yes

Did LogRhythm NextGen SIEM Platform live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of LogRhythm NextGen SIEM Platform go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy LogRhythm NextGen SIEM Platform again?

No

Having mostly worked with their on-premises solution, I think it's well-suited for small , medium, and even big organisations. I feel it might be less suited if the customer wants a SIEM with 100% uptime, as it goes down a lot. Or if they want to depend on customer support. I suggest that if you want to go with LR, you have to have your own experienced engineers to work on.
