Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

While it is easy to use, it is a bit difficult to master. Like I have stated before, there were no trainings. I had to learn through trial and error. If there is a training, It is not easy to find.
While Lucidchart isn't used across the whole organization, many organizations such as BI, Product, Business Systems and Information Systems, use it. We are using it in a variety of ways. Flow charts, Journey Maps, Org charts, etc. We each use it for different things. I personally use it for journey maps, flow charts & diagraming.

Pros

  • Templates.
  • Sharing information.
  • Creativity.
  • Easy to learn.

Cons

  • Integrations are at times hard to set up.
  • Almost too many templates.
  • Not great initial training on how to use it.
  • Easy to combine journeys from different areas to see the whole picture.
  • Has made process improvement better as we can not only journey map but input data as well.
  • Wish we could get everyone to use it.
We don't have a lot of integrations. We mostly use it as a stand-alone. We have integrated with Microsoft, and that's about it. It works well.
We love this program. it's easy to use, easy to customize to what you need. You can use it in a variety of ways within your organization. Great sharing tools. This has helped our dept and maps substantially.

Smaply is good, but it is a big ridged. Lucidchart has more customization and allows for more creativity and more applications.
Lucidchart is great for journey maps. I can put a lot of different information and channels and diagram it easily. It's easy to use and easy to customize to what I need. They have templates or you can create from scratch. Learning how to use it all at first was a bit difficult. My first map was very basic and primitive. My later maps have gotten better through trial and error, I wish it had an easy to find training.
