Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart
Anytime we have to break down requirements into technical implementation, we reach for Lucidchart. Vroom's backend is a distributed system with many microservices, we use Lucidchart to visualize the boundaries, connections, and functionality of these services. We definitely use Lucidchart to help us visualize how we will implement future services and projects. We also use Lucidchart's ERD(Entity Relationship Diagrams) import feature to connect our PostgreSQL database to Lucid and get automatically generated ERD diagrams.
- Visualizing distributed systems
- Plugging in complex data systems
- Collaborating across teams to decide on technical vision
- I would love an integration with JIRA where the statuses of JIRA issues can change something on a Lucidchart.
- Increased productivity by making it easier to collaborate
- Reduced project timelines by making it easier to make technical decisions
- Enhanced our documentation with diagrams so onboarding new team members is easier
We definitely leverage the integration with Atlassian pretty regularly. We are constantly embedding Lucidchart diagrams in Confluence pages at Vroom.
Do you think Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite delivers good value for the price?
Not sure
Are you happy with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite's feature set?
Yes
Did Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite live up to sales and marketing promises?
Yes
Did implementation of Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite again?
Yes
I think Lucidchart is just better for diagramming complex engineer scenarios. For software engineers, it's really hard to beat. I do like these other tools I have listed, but my favorite is still Lucidchart because it has so many high-quality features that really matter for engineering.
