Overall Satisfaction with Macrium Reflect

I use Macrium for disk imaging tasks and to produce accurate concatenated, compressed copies of volumes, sets of volumes, and/or disks.

Pros

  • Image drives/disks/volumes.
  • Provide incremental backups through imaging.
  • Provide mountable disk or volume images.

Cons

  • I can't think of anything which needs improvement at the moment.
  • We are not quantifying impact for our company.
  • Macrium Reflect has allowed several system transfers from a failing drive to a new drive.
This application is very simple to use and works great for its intended purposes. It's my go-to when I need to create or manage a singular disk or volume image.
Previously, I used Acronis as my company purchased licensing for years. It's great, but I found Macrium Reflect more straightforward, and the free version has been perfect for personal use.

Do you think Macrium Reflect delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Did Macrium Reflect live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Macrium Reflect go as expected?

Would you buy Macrium Reflect again?

Yes

This application is best suited for a 1 to 1 disk image of a healthy drive or volume. While it can provide backup capabilities, it's not a backup solution.
