Overall Satisfaction with Marketo
Currently, we're using Marketo for mainly email marketing efforts.
Pros
- Analysis - ability to gather very in-depth analysis on the performance of emails and landing pages.
- Campaign Creation - easy to set up and deploy new campaigns, as well as update existing ones.
- Email and Landing Page Creation - relatively easy set up, and the ability to use partners' tools is beneficial as well.
Cons
- I'd like to be able to make changes to the template of an email, and not have to approve each email associated with that template.
- It takes a while for list information to load - would like to see that process become faster over time.
- Increased employee efficiency.
- Better communication with current customers.
- HubSpot,Bronto,Act-On,Eloqua
While I was not a part of the selection process, I feel Markteo is the best all around product that fits the needs of a company our size and the initiatives we are looking to carry out as well. I think the best aspect of Marketo is that it is not overwhelming (on the high end) and it is not cookie-cutter at the same time either (on the low end) - there is a nice happy medium where a lot of businesses can gain significant benefits from.
