Overall Satisfaction with Marketo
Marketo is being used to improve our marketing efforts so that we are more efficient. Though the marketing team members are the main stakeholders, both marketing and sales are using the program.
Pros
- Training the team to use the program. Our trainer was great and made getting into the program easier.
- Reports. It is fairly easy to set up reports and make them available to people who need them.
- Support. The community is very helpful when problems arise and their help staff is usually available to assist when needed.
Cons
- Hard to use. There is a very steep learning curve.
- Organization of where features and programs are within Marketo is confusing. I'm very thankful for the search feature or else some items could be lost forever...
- Everything is an add on. You negotiate a price then find out later that basic things that should have been included or at least mentioned in the negotiation are additional money.
- Engage and grow customers over time
Not yet. Too many problems.
- Eloqua
We have not used Eloqua but from the sales presentations it appears to solve several of the issues we encountered but for a premium price.
