Overall Satisfaction with Marketo
We use Marketo to build landing pages that generate lead. Potentially everyone was able to use it. A manager who needs a slightly different landing page was able to choose a template, adjust the content and publish it. Really nice workflow, without using any external resources, creating tickets, waiting for those to be done, and playing a task ping-pong during QA. "Bumdone".
- Give power to marketers to create a landing page or a form based on predefined templates
- Dev free approach
- Reusable templates with control version
- UI!!
- Version control
- Lead Management
- Prospecting / New Business
The goal was to generate leads by creating a customised landing page for each "keyword". When we did that in our previous system, the boss came to ask for a few small adjustments. Every change took 2-3 mins, but if we multiply that for about 200 pages it takes someone a day. Then the boss came again, as he forgot to mention [additional changes]. The moment we switched from the old to Marketo, the changes can be done on the template that could be used on all pages. Such a game changer.
Bad UI, good everything else. If your company must have a lots of similar pages, then Marketo is for you. If you just need a few landing pages, where every page will be different, then probably all you need is a different system.
