MasterControl Quality Excellence for the WIN!
Overall Satisfaction with MasterControl Quality Excellence
We use MasterControl Quality Excellence in our everyday life here at Oncocyte. We implemented Docs and Training now working on supplier, BOM, and equipment. We have our lab departments in MasterControl daily revising documents, putting records in and starting there own packets.
Pros
- The infocard useage is excellent when used correctly. Sometimes with new users it can be hard to understand. The help function helps a ton.
- The training module keeps everyone within compliance on updated trainings dept, to companywide.
- Being doc control role helps everyday useage with individuals needing help. The help function has helped me help others
- Easy to use. Task list is always ready and updated with the latest info
Cons
- The leaders for collaboration, full to basic licensing and becoming a leader. Unfortunately people being leaders giving them too much control and taking QA out on collab. Need to have some areas where roles can not be removed.
- Reading trainings to forms and templates. Needing a better option to recreate them
- The publishing queue needs to be more functional sending the station or doc control a notification that some documents are not publishing- otherwise we do not know they aren’t released.
- It has helped people use 1 area to collab and approve documents
- Not allowing QA to approve in collab and at approval we are now the bottleneck rejecting packets.
MasterControl Quality Excellence locks in compliance. Other rams allow errors to still be made and possible problems to arise with no-complaint systems. MasterControl has it all.
