Overall Satisfaction with MasterControl Quality Excellence

Currently in progress of configuration phase for MasterControl QMS system. MasterControl will address document control, training, capa, complaints etc and will become our one QMS system platform, which will eliminate the need of use multiple QMS platforms within the company. MasterControl will become our Global QMS solution.

Pros

  • Collaboration phase within the packet which would help to reduce current rejection rate for document changes
  • Streamline the workflow
  • simplify the system for users

Cons

  • Rejection reason to be a predefined field rather than a free text field so the data can be trended
  • Processing multiple documents on one packet
  • Collaboration phase should have a live document that could be worked on by multiple people at the same time
  • Positive impact so far as we are in the process of implemenation MC within my company. Streamlined worflows would be definitely the big change to our company
  • Upcoming CAPA process would eliminate the paper CAPA records
We are in the process of implementing MasterControl but I see huge transformation in our Quality Management system by using this system. Having one unified system will streamline our quality management system processes eliminating the need for using multiple Quality Management systems .

We are currently in the process of implementation of MasterControl, where for the first phase we're focusing on documents and training. There will be other phases coming on capa, complaint etc but overall from document point of view - the process will be streamline with regards to workflows which would be beneficial for our company globally.
