Overall Satisfaction with MasterControl Quality Excellence

My business currently uses the MasterControl Quality Excellence application. We have struggled with our training documents for several years. Using this application has helped tremendously in providing an instant view on personnel trainings and compliance. We are able to track the training of SOPs and executed qualifying training documents for individuals, attach them to the task and access them any time. This has been a great tool with immediate results.

Pros

  • The tracking of controlled copies of documents allowing a smooth reconciliation.
  • The possibilities to assist with the tracking of training compliance and executions.
  • The Enhanced search feature has opened a whole new world of exploring ways to locate various documents.

Cons

  • When searching the documents tile, using the back arrow takes you to an odd page.
  • The Explorer tab does not appear to be all encompassing
  • I’m not privy to this level of information, however this has definitely improved our compliance.
The opportunities are endless. Our initial training when deploying was less than adequate. So we are still finding some pieces to be a little challenging.

QMS (Quality Management System) has been instrumental in moving our company towards the digital stage. Our paper based and manual processes have become more digital by deploying QMS. Our document management has drastically improved.
