Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We currently use MasterControl Quality Excellence for Documents and Training. We generally use it to upload documents associated with batch record review, Quality events, etc. Utilizing MasterControl Quality Excellence allows for stepping away from paper based systems, ease of user use, electronic based reports, and access to quality compliance for a pharmaceutical company.

Sometimes the icons aren’t easily known what they will open/bring you to when you click on them
ease of routing packets can sometimes require too many clicking which allows for users to skip necessary steps
options to review attachments without downloading them

Scenarios like uploading documents, being able to revise them at any time during a collaboration workspace, route the documents for approval, and releasing the documents in the system are all very well suited in the system. At the same time, each of these steps require good training and practice of the system given the many clicks a user has to do to complete the tasks, but it is a very user friendly system.
