Overall Satisfaction with McAfee Data Center Security Suite
The suite is fabulous and we have been using it past 3 years for database activity monitoring, virtual patching on a real-time basis, and preventing intrusions. The reporting feature can be used intensively.
- The virtual patching feature works nicely.
- The agent works well with different platforms.
- The reporting feature is good.
- All database activities can be tracked if configured properly.
- Support is a major issue. You need Mcafee premium service for the expected expertise.
- Deployment on Sun Solaris.
- Vulnerability Manager should accept customizations.
- We think the current tool is good and has been providing us a good ROI.
The Forecepoint product which we evaluated was better but this was a decision taken by the entire group.
