Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft 365 Defender
Since Microsoft 365 is the email that our hospital uses, Microsoft 365 Defender is embedded in it, and it alerts us every time an email is from an outside person or vendor as opposed to an internal email user. An alert is noted as soon as there is a suspicious email or potential one.

- It should recognize emails that we get regularly.
- It should recognize emails that we don't open and prevent it from being accepted again
- It should continue what it is doing regarding external emails
- Positive to be alert to suspicious emails.
- Know that we are being protected from malicious senders.
- When sending emails, senders can be assured that we have extra protection in place.
There were emails that were sent by outside vendors that were mistaken for internal emails, since they used our first name or something that we are working on and instinctively we would open the email which would potentially create problems for us. We weren't always sensitive to the potential threats out there.
We are much more confident in our email conversations with our colleagues internally and externally. We are programmed to see if it has a notice and we proceed accordingly.
We are currently not using the automated response. Or I should say, if we are I am not aware of it. I was not involved in the conversation about using the automated response option.

I have not used any other product like Microsoft 365 Defender. I don' believe any other product was evaluated since the institution is using Microsoft 365 and Microsoft 365 Defender comes with Windows 11 it was an automatic choice for the institution.
